Welcome Email
When a new hire has been added into the control panel and [marked as complete] an email will be sent to the new hire from the system which contains the instructions to login to the Onboarding portal along with a link for the new hire to create a new password.
Customers are able to format the email itself and the wording, however email link needs to be formatted like this:
- Highlight the area of text you want to link
- Click on the link icon in the formatting bar
3. Add in {Url} to the Url field
4. Update the text to be displayed to the candidate ‘Click here’
This allows the system to send the correct link to the candidate for login.
Log In issues
If a new user reports any issues with login and an “Invalid token” message appears, this means that one of four following situations have occurred:
- The reset password link is older than 24 hours.
- The link has already been used to change the password.
- The link has been reset by another reset password link (say by requesting another link before using the first link)
- The email programme is corrupting the link.
- users will be locked out of the website after 5 x failed login attempts for 15mins
